Circa’s Kitchen Garden
Designed by Joost Bakker, Circa’s working kitchen garden is split across two levels. A verdant herb garden flanks the light-filled courtyard showing glimpses of the kitchen, while upstairs, running the length of The Prince Deck, is the main kitchen garden. It’s something the kitchen team are very excited about.
Joost’s concept is not unlike library shelves. Beautiful library shelves. No books, though. Just vertically stacked and tiered plant boxes filled with organic heirlooms, sunlit and watered by the large supply of water we collect, creating this amazing compact garden that’s also kind to the environment. And now with everything at our finger tips, things couldn’t be fresher.
